Wife is getting some really itchy hands from Anavar. So much so, she's ready to drop it. She's on 10mg ed. She also takes progesterone and estradiol...both prescribed.

Any one else ever run across this side effect?

that's a weird one, is she taking an antibiotic for some reason? i remember one time getting real bad itchy feet and hands from an antibiotic.

That's a good question, but the answer is no. No Antihistamine's either.

She gave you a handy J tried a lube she's allergic to. Pretty simple diagnosis, your copay is $20. Have a good day.

Lmao!! I knew that new Tea tree lotion was too good to be true!

Hi TSize, the symptom you describe is from cholestasis (due to hormonal effects, NOT as bad as it might sound, or a bile/liver problem, it's a different type of cholestasis). The most prevalent side effect of this cholestasis is pruritus, or "itchy skin". With Anavar it's frequently on the hands. Maybe she should try Benadryl, see if that takes care of it. If not, maybe something like hydrocortisone cream.

I've heard of people itching all over their body from this, but it is usually the hands/arms.

Thanks for the Reply Hanzo. We have since cycled her off the Var, and the issue stopped right at a week afterwards. I then gave her a break and rotated to Winstrol. She seems to actually respond quite well to 20mg/Ed.

Even though it's not a symptom we usually associate with a low estrogenic compound, some women have subcutaneous water retention from Anavar.
The thing is, on it's own, var is a fairly potent anti-estrogen so there are some women who do experience bloating while on var.

I love the compound, one of my all-time favorites.
