depends bro, I have training company, i have been doing it a while as a side job, I got to the point where I built my reputation and I only do competitors now, all levels.

I will say that there are ALOT of shitty ass trainers that are "text book" trainers...

Another thing, work for yourself and get in a BIG gym. Starting out you want volume.

Really what set me apart from the competion here is I became known for contest prep and nutrtional sciences.

With nutrition I can do anything, weight loss (big factor in working with public) and I can give much better results then some one who just physicalls trains. TBH, I only habds on train a few guy and gals now, I mainly go through consultation and contest prep.

IF you wanna make $$ you need a big volume gym and where the populare has money. UYou average person cant afford a trainer.

Get accredited cert. ACE ACSM ect

......Im so burnt out on training....selling steroids is so much easier!! lol

To get the CSCS you have to have a college degree in exercise physiology, so I would say definitely become a personal trainer. If you studied for a few weeks you can pass that test

Ya.. try to get in a big box gym to learn and meet folks. Slowly build a clientele base and find a gym where you can rent space and transfer.... NASM or CSCS os what your going to benefit the most from.. as long as you have a degree you dont need another one. You will learn much more on your own than you will at school..
