Definitely, but you don't have to work that hard to shock the "system". There are many ways to do this and create fantastic results. You can start off slowly, try deadlifting your body weight 50x to start. Break it into 5 sets of 10 within 10 minutes; that will light you up so fast and for the next 12hrs you'll do nothing but burn calories and stimulate natural GH production! I've done this many times, now I do it for 120 reps at body weight and I've had my labs done an hr later, you wouldn't believe what you learn.

i banged out 8x8 of 185 lb deadlifts to start my fullbody workout today. that's basically my bodyweight as i'm like 182 or 183 these days. i tried to bang them out quick. my back is gonna be hurting the next couple of days. i found myself pretty gassed towards the end of my workout.
