Basic Beginning Anavar Cycle

Please keep in mind that using AAS is not to be taken lightly and the side effects can be different for each individual as sensitivities do vary from person to person.

Anavar is NOT a magic FAT loss pill. If you decide to run a cycle and are expecting major fat loss you will NOT see it unless you are at least 10% body fat.

If you are above 10% body fat, you can expect to add muscle at a faster rate than any fat loss will occur leaving you feeling "thick."

Anavar is a great way to introduce yourself to the world of AAS. Cycles can be as long as 12 weeks or as short as 4 weeks. Dosages range from 5mg to 20mg (or 40 if you are a hardcore body builder..)

It is recommended that if you are new you start your first week at 5mg split in half morning and evening. This is to keep your blood levels fairly steady as side effects will increase if you have spikes in levels.

If 5mg is tolerated well then move up to 10mgs. Again split morning and evening so you will be taking 5mg in the am and 5mg in the pm.

PCT is not normally discussed for women but it is an important part of the cycle especially if you start getting into some of the more advance stacks. Although, it is hard to find many who might agree, it is recommended that you taper yourself off on the tail end of the cycle. By doing this you set your system up to recover itself with out any huge increase in estrogen.

Generally speaking you will experience some fat loss and an increase in lean muslce mass given that diet and training are spot on. This is NOT a magic diet pill. Anavar promotes lean muscle mass with minimal sides and occasional water retention. In small enough doses that its impact on the liver is minimal for women. It is also attractive to women and beginners who are not interested in dealing with needles. The predictable and minimal sides are also attractive points to those not wanting to deal with the more individual and androgenic sides of most other AAS.

Typical Sides
· interrupted period / flow - may take a few months for the flow to come back as normal. Note this does NOT mean you won't get pregnant.
· you may still experience usual menstrual sides (cramps, bloating, etc.) on your regular menstrual schedule
· mild acne
· Clitoral enlargement and increased sensitivity
· oily hair
· some experience water retention (though not due to aromatization)
· may cause vaginosis / yeast infection (most any AAS has this potential)
· occasionally people experience nose bleeds

this information is intended for entertainment purposes and does not in any way shape or form advocate for the usage of aas

I would like to add to the side affects if you a woman. You can develop fibroids and if you currently have them can increase the size of them preventing proper urination and causing urination retention. Once fibroids grow they will not shrink again and you have to have them surgically removed by laproscopy or by hysterectomy.

Stickied. We have people asking about this @ least weekly it seams!

Good stuff. I had a friend who wanted var so we did the best we could on the cycle. She did get thick I guess due to the muscle gain, especially in the legs. I think she's off now and trimming back down.

Would love for my wife to try it, but she's not 10%....yet.

Good post. Informative for anyone who has ladies who are thinking of trying aas

My wife loves var and has ran it at pretty high doses with great results...great post kgirl

You mention irregular period. Heavy bleeding or not as much. My wife wants to start but she's so concerned about it her period and hair growthZ

Wanted to add some from my experiences with my wife. She has done several cycles but more advanced than just var. I think var only is great for most women especialy if you are new to gear.
Wife has done eq, var, deca, npp and masteron. Ballpark of 150mg per wk of any of these compounds. Have also thrown in 50mg test prop every 2wks with that.
Worst side effect has been acne. Clit has enlarged some, not bad. Normaly when doing this she has no period. Please keep in mind this is not for most women.

all of these are "possible" sides, everyone is different. Var is mild enough that "most" of the sides don't occur but CAN. How it affects her completely depends on her current biochemistry. I didn't see any extra hair growth running var alone. I haven't had a period in some years but it isn't due to running cycles. Some gals report that they have irregular periods during cycling and some report that they don't have one. I suggest she have a baseline lab done prior to cycling

So can fattys take or not?

Anyone can use it but it is NOT a fat loss pill... if you "fatty" doesnt care about getting thicker then sure they can

My girl is on keto and started var. I did my research I know it’s not a weight loss pill. What else can she take to lose weight with it besides clen
