Anyone eat Liver here? I have read profiles on them and the nutrition value for them is immaculate aside from higher metal content.
 
Yea I have had it before, not frozen but fresh.... the best tasting was from a deer right after I killed it, I was dared to eat it raw... but the damn thing must have been eating nothing but corn lol it tasted really sweet.
 
liver normally has a sweeter taste to it ive noticed. My husky wont touch it for the life of her. Shell eat any kind of meat, just not organs. I threw it into my diet recently
 
Hell yea, i love it i fry it with onions, wish i had it right now, i usually end up eating the whole pack in one sitting.

try putting a couple strips of bacon in it when frying it, some damn good stuff
 
Yep, eat it on occasion... both deer and calf liver, but I am picky about where I get it from... and, wife and kids won't touch it so I have to cook it myself (fried, with onions like discussed above).

Lol Bro, one time I saw a sale at the store, was like 1lb of chicken hearts for $0.88 so I bought two and took them home to cook them up...worst lb of meat I've made myself eat, I drowned them in a sauce I made using Greek yogurt and mustard .

I like duck liver myself or any game bird for that matter.. also another good thing to eat but not cheap is salmon eggs or any fish egg for that matter..

and I find it that if you soak the liver in soy sauce and lemon juice it makes it mmmmm tasty. any kind of liver.....

and that is crazy your dog wont eat organs.. my dogs knows when we bring it home from the store and my oldest dog will literally sit in the kitchen and CRY until someone goes in there and cooks her some. lol But she will also sit and cry if someone is eating chocolate. Little bitch ate a lb of Hershey's kisses only reason I knew about it was because her crate was full of the little aluminum wrappers..
