I’m curious to what everyone is using for BP meds, I’m going to stay away from Lisinopril as I have a few buddies who have had bad experiences with it. My “high” BP is on the lower end, not sure if I want to run a diuretic or jump on a statin. I appreciate any and all advice.

Telmisartan is preferred for aas. If your pathological, beet root can be an ancillary but will not mend to issue

And a statin is for lowering cholesterol lipids… diuretic is not a good long term solution to your BP issue

atenolol , propranolol for days i decide i wanna drink, and lisinopril , i havent had any bad sides from lisinopril, but ive heard of people getting a cough from it. ive taken it for 8 years no issues- also take beet root powder,, the extract powder tho, the beet root itself makes me hurl

kragonnoob many ways to get it besides straight unflavored

Grim, I work with about 17 Cardiologists and 2CT surgeons and recover 3-4 open hears a week. Not 1 doctor prescribes beet root for pathological BP coverage. It is ancillary, that is all.

MattyIceThey of course wont prescribe it bro doesn't equate to it not working...

I know many it's worked for... Research even confirms it works.

Huge heart issues perhaps not, lowering BP in itself definitely

OP even states his hi BP is on the low side....

I would recommend people that have constant benign hypertention and people who experience malignant hypertension to seek medical advise or take real medication and you can suppliment with beet root. Beet root does work.. but only some forms. The pills dont work worth shit seems like extract powder or ground beet powder works (ground beet powder is what makes me puke.. the taste is bad but im used to bad tastes [grim's dick doesnt taste the best but still love it lol] ) i would always defer to medical advice and if you are just starting to experience high bp and it doesnt go above 150/90 and you are relativly young (<40) you can try beet root first and see if it lowers it. Or of course you dont have money for doctors and u dont have insurance sure worth a try vs notning. But im def with matty in part here that its never recomended as a primary treatment for hypertension in the medical field, but there are some studies that show this stuff works and it does work for me as well as an addition to my meds. I dont want to go into a "its all big pharma" paranoid talk, however the reason i think it is inconclusive is that there is no real money behind doing large skill trials on something natural, which i think is a goddamn shame.. we the pay for a lot of researches via tax and donations and pharma does benefit from that then turns around and overcharges us for the meds while selling it discounted to the rest of the world lol..

Ok.. thas enough of that lol

Bleep..

kragonYes 'IF' a actual huge issue, never did I say its a cure all bro

I know literally dozens who use gear who its brought their pressure into normal range

Remember OP said low end of HI

Drs hardly ever prescribe anything natural and go straight for RX

Point is try it see if it works for you, if it doesnt then explore RX

There are actually numerous studies that prove it works bro, been recommending it for years and it's helped countless be in healthy range just from my own experience.

GRIMI come from a community where drugs are issued to treat certain “illnesses”. It’s recently came to light that all these drugs (in my case 10 at once!) are causing suicides, deep depression, ED, anxiety and so on. Literally doing the opposite of what they are “meant” to do. These doctors just push this garbage to make money!

I’m currently off all those meds and have never felt better. I switched my diet, go to counseling, and now training harder than I did in my twenties (so it feels, lol).

You’ll see a big swing shortly as more of these podcasts come out exposing the BS big pharma truth.

Ok, off my soap box…

Lisinopril...never had any issues.

DemigodMy wife was recently put on it for a bit, she got the cough and was pretty bad, she’s now on Metoprolol. I’ve ordered a substantial amount of Telmisartan, I’ll report back how it works out.

I stay away from docs for the most part, they pretty well messed me up bad when I retired. Major stuff I’ll go into a doc, but for BP, TRT, etc, I’ll do my own bloods and such.

MythotiKI wanna try Telmisartan, rn taking Atenolol and Lisinopril, ill have to find a good place to order that doesnt take an arm and a leg. the prices are much higher on the mexican med site i use lol

first. Make sure you’re getting enough magnesium (citrate or taurate). 600-700mgs per day.

Also, Cialis will lower BP

Also NO2 will open up those vessels

Finally I do 80mgs of Telmasartan (prescribed).
