Does your career affect your traing in a positive or negative way.
Sometines i feel like my physical work causes less energy and aggression after work while i train.
But i could see sitting all day at a desk having sone type of impact on spine stress.
I am a union carpenter and pushing screws threw metal all day burns me out.
What do you guys do and how does it effect yiur training? Message_1553788962511.webp 20190121_105246_HDR.webp 20180710_093711.webp

I'm also in the Trades but run my own business. I've learned to take ME time as I'll burn myself out and I have in past. In your case being a Union Carpenter I know well you need to work your ass off.
At almost 50 yrs old I've learned to work a bit slower but still make a great living.
I actually wish I can workout early AMs but I workout later at nights.
If I wasnt on TRT I'd be a lazy fukk lol.

I've been training for over 20 years but never really started taking it very seriously until I found my career. From then on I became much more consistent with my strength and endurance routines barring some injuries along the way. Anabolics were never a part of my life until about 5 or years after I was hired on the department. I do have many personal goals but being in the best shape I can possibly be is now a lifestyle. I never know when a civilians, my partners, or my life could be in jeopardy. I now have made it a habit to train and I hope I never lose that ambition.

i work in behavioral health and do 40 hour weeks and not a minute more. it's still a struggle to get into the gym most weekdays, but i usually make it there.

im a goddamn IT DeskJokey lol its mental gymnastics and high stress break/fix environment. the good thing is i get 3 days off a week and just workout 4 days out of the week on my days off.. tried working out after work at night, but man im too fucking tired after a 10 hour shift.

Yo. I work in the networking field. Basically network support and break/fix engineering for a large instution and a few regional and international networks . I am basically a Jr. Network Engineer/ also a sr.
Network specialist. Its good money. Its the kinda job you would do good with having a CCNA Certification allong with JNCIA certification (cisco and Juniper certs) and a few years of hands on t-shooting experience. There are some good foot in the door type jobs you can get. I Started in helpdesk from there moved towards doing network support. Its got its benefits.. but also being on call sucks and working holidays suck too, but pay is good. And i got shitloads of vacation time saved up lol.
