I use to do sets of deadlifts. This exercise is a singular movement. What ive been doing now is performing the whole exercise then stand back up and repeat. This burns my lower back good n it prepares me for the singular nature of this exercise.

i just do them anyway i can lol
they brutal on me

So you're performing just 1 set of pulls? Not sure I'm getting what your saying with your post.

I do them very light. Plus very few and far between. To most it wouldnt even be worth it. But ill take what i can get

Yeah, I'm a little confused on the OP ..... Sounds like you're just saying you find it more beneficial to do 1 Rep Sets

You could do a variation of pulls depending on what's available and what you're trying to work.

@BrotherIron its because of my gimpiness. My right leg and side barely works. I do what i can

What im saying is i do a grouping of 1 rep sets. I do a deadlift stand up then go right back down regrip do the next deadlift. The difference is the disengaging standing back upright go right back down regrip the bar and continue with the next one. I do not maintain connection with the bar and bounce through 5 or 10

Resetting after each rep is how many people perform deadlifts. You can do a set of whatever but for each rep you reset and then prepare the lift. The Lillibridges are known for performing their lifts like this. Not everyone performs t'n'g (touch and go reps) and even then the lifter should not bounce the weight,

I like the "Intuitive" aspect of it. Very similar to Deadstop Rows. Momentum cannot be carried through the movement. Surefire way to build Strength utilizing this method! It forces the body to utilize different energy pathways
