Effects of running too long

So I was basically cycling for over a year. Never gave my body a chance to recover and my testes were obviously shut down for this period. I decided to take a break and do an fairly aggressive pct including hcg, clomid, and Nolva. At the end there, of my cycling, I was feeling very tired all time, I was sleeping 8hrs a night, and I just felt almost bummed mentally. Not sure how to describe the mental aspect. Not depressed just not really feeling good. So I start the hcg last week, took 4th shot of 500iu today. But within 3 or 4 days of my very first shot of hcg I felt GOOD. Sooo much better than I had been feeling. I was struggling to get up after 8hrs sleep, now I'm sleeping 6-6.5hrs and I wake up ready to roll. I'm in a better mood too. It's crazy. Now my question is could having the testes shut down so long be the factor in my mood, energy, etc? I've read that they produce pregnenolone and without that you may feel incomplete, as krustus put it in another thread. And that would be a fair way to describe how I felt. Your input is greatly appreciated sorry for the long explanation.

No advice here, but curious about this too. I sometimes get that same feeling. I've never really done pct. I'm on for life. I rarely come off at all. I'll slow up and cruise @ 250-300 mg of test for 4-5 weeks then right back on.

to me it just sounds like your testosterone levels drop significantly after your cycle, which should have been expected and the hcg helped to boost it back up probably from pretty much no testosterone to a noticeable amount. Low testosterone has been linked to many many health issues including depression, anxiety, fatigue ect which more than likely you were experiencing all of those during your transition even if in a milder case than what you may deem depressed. Hopefully with your use of hcg, clomid and nolva your body will come out of it's testosterone "coma" and man I would strongly recommend not running again for several months and never run a cycle that long again if you want to continue to produce your own test instead of TRT. Just my opinion brother

next time you get off you shouldnt just stop all at once. in the last 3 weeks of a cycle you need to start to turn back on your bodies natural test production with HCG, and depend how much you been on might need a heavy dose. When I am done with a cycle I go a 2-4 weeks of low test and then start the hcg.

I think you guys are reading his post wrong, his issues were on cycle not during his pct. At least that what I read. So he was still pinning test while having the blah feelings.

Interesting, I wonder then if it works on cycle like that too. I'm in the blah right now for sure and was thinking of hitting some hcg as I'm gonna have to make a visit to the Urologist soon on another issue.

the bodies hormonal system is very complex and not fully understood... but some really good trt /hrt docs always use HCG as part of their protocol... because you testes are a mans largest producer of pregnonlone. and a lot of hrt docs have older guys taking dhea and/or pregnenolone to "back fill" the hormonal pathways... to make sure you have the parent hormones to give your body what it needs to produce other hormones...

if you are on for life ... i think hcg is necessary....

What would be the proper regimine of hcg for guys already on replacement?

Thanks krustus I was hoping you'd chime in. I have not made a solid decision to cruise and blast for the remainder of my life. My old lady wanted me to take a break and much as I hated to I'm very glad I did now. The difference in my mood, energy, etc is significant and I am very surprised. I thought I would feel like crap. I have lost a few pounds but I believe it's water. I'm goin to stay off until at least march. And maybe do some more research on this topic. Thanks for everyone's input

bro ... i'm certainly not an expert really just repeating what i have read and studied from articles ond conversations on the net... but i believe this HCG for long term users is necessary.

also... most people abuse steroids to hard.. long blast , too many compounds, and no real knowledge of how to use them.. i have been guilty of this also.

long term health is more important to me and i have said many times i probably fell my best on just the docs trt dose of test (125-150mg a week)...

so if you are not trying to be a pro bodybuilding competitor use good sense and be reasonable with your doses..., the diet and training are more important any way. most try to do everything with the drugs and neglect there diet and training... it all works toghether...lol.. i'll quit preaching now...

I'm prescribed 250mg EW from my dr. I think I'll do some research and possibly use hcg, but I've been guilty of running gear far to long! I think I'll take a break and just cruise for a couple months. Sorry if my posts are not helpful to the OP'r. No high jack intended.

No doubt krustus I know your no expert. Lol yes I'm very guilty of doin all that u described. Walker no hijack perceived. I'm gonna do some researching myself. Thanks bros.

Haha didn't mean it like that!

i know bro... i just laughed out loud when i read it...... but it is true.. anyone can spit out the stuff they read like i do..
