Met this guy at the gym the other day. Good build, fairly lean yet still thick and wide. He eats 4500 calories, bulking or cutting. The difference is were the calories come from. So bulking he wont skip pizza, cookies etc. but wont go over 4500 calories. Cutting he avoids that stuff but still eats 4500 calories.
 
Depending on what you eat , clean or dirty , I believe it's def possible .
 
That’s how I do it I focus more on calories than any other thing.
 
hard to believe to me... calories matter the most in the equation ... types of food has an impact but i don't buy this story.

maybe he adds in T3...clen..etc... and it's enough to drop his fat?

I pretty much agree. If he eats 4500 cals of Krispy Kremes then sure, because of constant sky high insulin and all, as opposed to 4500 cals of chicken and egg whiites...but those are unrealistic extremes. Nutrient partitioning is a thing but in the real world you still have to expend more energy than you consume to lose weight, whatever you're eating.

No, I've never done it. Heard from guys that say they do this, but....i think most of us Here are smart enough to know that maintaining a lower BF on this regime is only possible with major assistance. Calories are not created equal, regardless of what somebody swears they do.
 
To eat clean amd get 4500 is tough imo. Eating clean example meats, eggs, fish, veggies, sweet potatoes, ect thats a lot of food to eat "clean". On the other hand I am doing a bulk for a month now. Eating 4x a day. In morning 4-5 eggs scramble, 4 links turkey bacon, with 1 and 1/2 serving of protein pancakes I get from target, and 16 ounces of whole fat milk (that alone is 300cal). I eat burrito from qdobas or chipotle whole wheat, rice, double chicken, black beans, little bit of the queso shit they have, mild salsa, quac, (thats about 800 or so cals, 16 ounces of milk again, mid afternoon for the past week 4 slices of pizza plain, I dont do the extra shit ( thata about 1100 cals or so) after workout, I do Teriyaki chicken two servings, with shrimp and noodles (thats about 750cals), i switch what I eat depending on what time I get home for hgh and how many 16 ounces of milk i have that day usually 3, some days I do a protein shake two servings with berries, but getting those calories clean is tough without, not impossible but tough.

It’s easy I constantly bulk. Im not a huge fan of cutting but I’d have to agree with Krustus and the others on the cutting side I don’t see how you can cut without cutting calories.
 
4400 Calories a day was my regimen. All food was "clean" calories. My problem was how much food it was.... A metric Shit ton! Btw, I bulk on those calories, I cut on half that.
