I am looking to move in the next few years. Wondering if anyone knows someone who has lived in a great city? I am not worried about work, just plain great place to live in the U.S.

Orlando is pretty awesome here! Never gets that cold. Beaches are nearby. Lots to do

Depends on what your life style is.. party type with beautiful women everywhere? Beach? Mountains? Hot. Cold. Country. City.

I've only lived in one area my whole life but it's got everything I'll ever need.

Lafayette, LA. Has clubs that are packed with gorgeous women. Casinos in under 30-40 min driving range. Salt and fresh water fishing. Hunting is all over. Multiple colleges to pick from. Work is pretty much every where you look. I love my area and don't plan on moving unless work requires it. Very friendly area as well. Not many stuck up people.

Lafayette is a good city. Passed through there many times.

Picking a city really depends on your job honestly. If you work in the oil field, you really won't find a job in Seattle or New York City. That was an example. Give us a little more info about you so maybe we can make a recommendation.

Bend Oregon or Seattle Washington. Cali is a shit hole.

Holy shit bros. I live in Louisiana. In a town 20min from Lafayette. I actually work in Lafayette so I am there all the time

If anyone of u guys in in Lafayette then yall should hit me up!!!!!!

You live in OPP right? I think I seen a post about that. Depending on your age I got some buddies that are from there. Some gremillions. Know any of them?

I guess I am looking for down to earth people. Lots of food options. Job will not be a problem wherever I choose. Cheap taxes and overall reasonable housing. A living wage for the comparative cost of living for the geographical area. Possible long term retirement options. I would rather the state not being on the brink of bankruptcy. Different workout options.

Blasson, I would have never thought about Lafayette so thanks for that. Tkasch I have considered Florida. Not a big party boy, love a beer now and again. Thanks Mick, Bend OR and Seattle Washington. You know it is hard to determine where to move but it is really nice to hear some good input from brothers who have lived there. Good ideas.

I would enjoy finding a small farmette with things above around 45 minutes away. I like being away from the hectic life but close enough if I need to get some healthcare, food, gym, or enjoyment.
