Ive been hitting chest pretty hard and I have good definition/depth but I think I may missing something when it comes to developing any substantial width in the upper chest. Just wondering if someone could lend me a hand on some different things to do to get upper body a little wider, besides the basic wide bench press etc..? Would focusing more on shoulders and traps actually enhance and aid in the process of widening chest?
 
Inclined flies and get a good stretch. Dips will also aid in a wider chest

Heavy and 10-12 reps you want to struggle your last 2 reps

anything that gets you stretching the outer chest, reverse wide grips, incline wide grips, decline wide grips, pull overs, db flyes, etc.
6-8 rep range imo max if you are going for size/mass.
 
Appreciate the replys fellas gonna change some things up for a bit and see what happens
 
Stretching. Lookup my thread on DC training and do the stretching. Designed to stretch the muscle fascia for growth. Also your back has to get wide for your shoulders to spread out.
