One thousand vials of steroids have been seized on the Gold Coast in a raid on what police believe to be a steroid laboratory.
Police say two people are in custody after officers seized thousands of dollars worth of equipment that they will allege has been used in the production of steroids.
Detectives from the Major and Organised Squad raided a home in La Scala Street, Isle of Capri about 7.30am on Tuesday and said the equipment seized was believed to be used in a "sophisticated" production.
About 1000 vials of steroids were also uncovered in the raid.

A 28-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman are currently assisting police with their investigations.
