Don't know how many people where raised Christian here but it's good Friday. Easter is this Sunday marking the crucifixion and rise of Christ. There is a book out called the case for Christ written by a journalist for the Chicago tribune who was an athiest until his christian wife challenged him to investigate the life of Jesus like he would any other story he covered in the Chicago paper. Its a great book a really good read. A lot of the evidence he researched was outside of the Bible like the darkness that over fell the earth for 72 hours while Christ hung on the cross from today til Easter Sunday. It was recorded as an unexplainable darkness or maybe an eclipse was the best folks could come up with back then. But still even then records were kept of the weather and seasons rainfall and such back in that time. There is a lot of evidence out side the Bible in this book of Christ's existence on earth his ministry etc..anyway happy easter weekend people.

Awesome post Dago.Happy Good Friday to you all and a very Happy Easter.

It doesn't really matter if people believe or not.What a religion represents is all good.I say "RELIGION" meaning real religions,not the bullshit cults they try to pass as religions around the world like islam.Not a religion!!

But anyway,the loss of religious beliefs as a society has left people without fear of doing bad.Without fear of "SINNING".The asshole we've had in office for the past 8yrs did everything he could to kill peoples beliefs and faith in God and tried convincing everyone that muslims need to be respected.Sadly too many idiots fell for that piece of shit's rantings but thank God we now have a President in office that is working to bring God back into the home and schools and open everyone's eyes to the satanic cults calling themselves a religion.

Again,not knocking anyone for being athiest.That's your choice.All im stating is that when as a society,there were more people believing in and raising their children to believe in and respect the beliefs and rules laid out by God,we were a much more moral, sane and crime-free country.I said "MORE" crime-free,not crime-free.So it is really a bad thing?

Is believing in not killing,not stealing,not treating others how you would not want to be treated,not killing for no reason,helping others etc, really a bad thing?? Does it make me a fool to feel this way? If so,then I will live my life a fool and when I die,I can be at peace knowing that I was foolish enough to do good for no reason.

Trust me,im by no means an Angel and don't go to church every Sunday nor do I walk around with a bible under my arm.But I was raised to know what is right and wrong.I learned what God says and what to strive to be and ive raised my children this way.I know many who dont believe but agree that my beliefs are a good thing.
