I am about to hit the gym since I had a short day today at work. What is your favorite time to train? Before or after work? I prefer getting up before wrk and hitting it, kind of sets the tone for my day and I actually feel better all the way around when I get myself into the early morning routine. What about you?

After work is best for me.
Just not enough calories in the early morning for me to have good workouts.
My Strength drops about 10% or more with am workouts

That's the same with me...although, I feel like it's significantly more then 10%! Lol

Just need that fuel from the day to hit the gym by 6:30pm

i have to workout in the early mornings because of my schedule... but would prefer afternoons... i agree that i may be stronger later in the day

I'm just not a morning person. No amount of caffeine gets me going. I have to work out in the afternoon or night.

I just hate to go to the gym in the afternoon or evening because I can't stand the happy hour crowd, none of that bromance bullshit in the morning

When I am dieting I like to train first thing in the morning right when I get up, it seems to work best for me to shed weight like I want. I do feel stronger in the afternoon after a few meals but training in the morning puts me in a good state of mind and feeling good all day. I like to train with my wife so we go according to her work schedule, so sometimes we go in the morning and other times in the afternoon.

Thanks
TMM

I get up at 4am to get the cardio in before heading to work. Every other day I add an upper body workout. The earlier the better for me, I'm a morning person.

I'm thinking very seriously about getting, back to early mornings.
After all day in the heat in just to tired to go train.

I have no energy left after work. Besides later in the day things can come up and prevent you from hitting the gym.

Dude especially right now the heat and humidity here working in it all day throw in some afternoon rain to make it more miserable , when I get off I ain't got the drive or energy and 12-14 hour days don't help
