Headed to the Dr's office tomorrow as a regular 3 month visit for my TRT program. The only thing I'm really interested in changing is my use of Anastrozole (Arimedex). I need to take one tab a day in order to keep my estrogen count from being sky high, but this stuff is bad for blood pressure and weakens bones. That's a combo for disaster when you're lifting heavy weight. Anybody have experience using an AI when on test C, Dbol and EQ? I'd like to suggest he prescribe something else if there's something better.
 
Express your concerns and ask for aromasin. Worst he could say is no. Your in a much better position to get it since you already have a relationship and are on arimdex already.
 
not sure aromasin has ever been prescribed fro TRT, i certainly like it better .

T-bar whats your E2 look like when you "follow directions" on the test levels, assume you inject not rub creams on via Doctors orders, and you say you're reasonable lean so odd that you have a high level of aromatase enzymes .

might be time to avoid the wet compounds in cycle doses, i know i've dropped them (age 50)
 
To be clear, and because it's an opportunity to brag, I am what I like to refer to as "Sweet Jesus lean". I take off my shirt and people go "Sweet Jesus! You got abs!"

When I do put on some body fat it's only in the lower abs, with a little in the lower back, but it goes easily when my estrogen levels are sky high. And yes I inject. No creams for me, unless it's in a bottle and my wife has a "You've been a good boy" smile on her face.

So I had my appointment this morning. It could not have gone better. My test levels were low, which was on purpose. Stopping 2 weeks out from the blood work was magic. My levels dropped to 193. As a result they boosted my prescription! My estrogen levels finally dropped. They may be a bit low now, sitting at 28. They were at 98 three months ago.

Cholesterol, vitamin #, triglycerides, blood pressure... all fantastic. I'm a pretty happy dude and free to play until I go back for testing in 3 months.

Not a problem. All you have to do is start seeing older women and make sure they don't have their reading glasses on when you undress.

So get this... I was thinking my estrogen levels were too low, because I was stupid enough to believe the doctor's chart, when it said I was 28pg/mL. But reading this article on proper estrogen and test levels it clearly says the optimal level for estrogen in men should be 21-25pg/ml.

Now I have to figure out why I'm tired as shit all the time if my actual test levels are at 678 and my estrogen levels are at 28. I should be a ball of energy trying to screw everything that moves. I'm strong as hell, but I sure feel like sleeping 80% of the day and the only way I'll screw someone is if she looks hot as hell and you throw her on my dick. Anything else is too much effort. What gives?

that sucks!!!! more to sex drive than just hormones though...depression, stress, etc.. and i assume you have been on TRT for a while...do you use HCG?...keep them nuts alive...they are one of the males largest producers of pregnenolone. shortage of that can make you feel a lot of different things...lol.

masteron or dht makes me hornier than test does... i have not hair loss issues though

Yep, been on it for a long time. Keep in mind that my test levels were under 60 before starting TRT, so it's not like they were doing their job anyway. No I'm not on HCG. Too pricy for me. I've used Mast quite often and love, love, love it. I'm on it now. But yes the boys have really lost size since starting TRT. But I'm married so I'm not sure it matters any more.
 
Hcg... now and then would probably be a good idea.... even if test levels were low before the testes do supply other parent hormones that you might be short on.... but the estrogen balance is always the most important factor in my sex drive it seems

I am totally open to suggestions. I'm prepping my new cycle now. Not sure I can afford to throw in Hcg or how to work it into my cycle. I've been pretty basic and seen great results, but sometimes you gotta change things up!

Week 1-10

Test Cyp 250mg 2/wk
EQ 200mg 2/wk
Dbol 25mg/ed
Arimidex 0.5mg/eod

Week 11-16

Test Cyp 250mg 2/wk
Dbol 25mg/ed
Arimidex 0.5mg/eod
 
The fatigue and the low libido can be explained with Adrenal fatigue. It's certainly not the only possible culprit, but it's the one most of us overlook quite often. Between the hard to extreme workouts(for some, 2-a-days), the lack of enough rest, hard dieting, pre workout drinks, post workout drinks, energy drinks, etc....it takes a toll on the adrenal glands.

Thanks for getting me back here brother. I love the board, the members impress the hell out of me, and having a crap load of impressive suppliers that all work together is pretty damn impressive too. I really do appreciate the push and the help getting back on board.
