My hemocratit has crept up to 54% since ive decided to stay on trt i need to give blood. My problem is they have no theuraputic sites in my state. I cant give blood cause i have hep c antibodies. Any sugg. Im not big on doing it myself.

Tough spot to be in. Unless you can get a doctor to do it, you may have to DIY.

You could always ask around. Maybe someone you know has a friend that is a phlebotomist and will help you out?

They say 65% is considered danger high. Thinking maybe 50ml at a time over maybe 2 day period. 350ml is normal donor status.

Just not hitting the gym n taking bloods my eGFR came up to 75% within normal parameters. There not using the cystatin-c method. That actually calls into account our musculature. I asked for a referal to see a nephrologist n she said why your kidneys are fine now. After telling me 2 weeks ago returning to the gym would be a death sentence. Wtf

The actual working out n breaking muscle tissue down is what has my kidney tests so messed up. Plus they dont take into account my huge frame. Time off and a reset is a good idea though. Clearing and giving the adrogen receptor sites is a plus too.

81mg of aspirin is a must for all of us on trt. I hate donating so what I’ve done is basically ordered a bunch of crazy blood tests myself. Labcorp took so much blood last time I went man down in the chair.

That’s right bro aspirin is very one dimensional on blood thinning. That’s interesting I’ll def check out rutin. Wife had a femoral blood clot with our first kid. Almost took her out. She was on injection blood thinner called lovenox during both pregnancies. I had to pin her daily for almost 2 years. Terrible but effective. Saved her life for sure.

I've been needing to donate blood even before the pandemic. But now dammit it's kinda like Riskier if you ask me. Don't feel safe going into what of those places with all this shit going on. Might have to drop down and go anyway probably sooner than later.

I had high crit for years been on forever used to donate can t anymore I kept reading about bros on trt getting sleep apnea and got me a breather machine and use it 3hrs a nite or so and bang crit has not been and issue and got rid of other issues as well. Not sure if this is your issue but it worked for me. The only other option I looked into was the selfie kits or doc giving a script. I just toldthe doc I will doit my self if he refused the script they don t want that. Mines been good ever since I got the breather mach.

Im getting set up for a sleep study since she feels my high blood pressure is effected by my sleep apnea. Been poppin aspirin n im off everything for a little. Atleast till i see the nephrologist on the 13th.
