Overtraining manifests itself in a variety of ways. Physical signs include an elevated morning pulse (10 beats faster than usual), constantly high blood pressure, chronic muscle discomfort, an increased frequency of common diseases such as colds, an increased incidence of injuries, and a loss of appetite and weight. Overtraining may have non-physiological consequences.
