Pharmaceutical price gouging and monopolism can be overcome with a free market of integrative natural medicine
Sunday, October 18, 2015 by: L.J. Devon,

(NaturalNews) More people are waking up to the fact that pharmaceuticals are an extremely costly shot in the dark attempt to combat the body's health problems. When news broke out that Turing Pharmaceuticals had raised the cost of their drug Daraprim by 5,000 percent (from $13.50 to $750 a pill), the public began to realize that the pharmaceutical system isn't set up to heal, but to profit off disease management.

The public is brainwashed with the idea that pharmaceuticals are the only evidence-based medicine. When people start digging deeper and making correlations, they realize that relying on pharmaceuticals alone is one of the most dangerous things they can do to their mind and body because of the numerous side effects associated with it.

The evidence of "evidence-based medicine" is often dark and disastrous

The dark evidence on pharmaceuticals is right in front of us. Take statins, for instance. Scientists at Tulane University in New Orleans have shown that statin drugs are dangerous to the cells and DNA of the human body. Statin drugs have long become a billion-dollar business, but scientists are now finding out that these drugs "deactivate" stem cells that repair cells throughout the body. The study said statin drugs "impaired the expression of DNA repair genes" and caused "memory loss, myopathy, cataract formation, and increased risk of diabetes."

Most popular pharmaceuticals are a farce. The evidence points to harm, not healing. For example, the chemical Paroxetine, which is sold as an anti-depressant for adolescents, can apparently evoke suicidal tendencies. It took fourteen years for this discovery to surface because the original GlaxoSmithKline study failed to report on paroxetine's deadly effects.

Now the evidence is out in a revealing new study: "The efficacy of Paroxetine and imipramine was not statistically or clinically significantly different from placebo for any prespecified primary or secondary efficacy outcome. There were clinically significant increases in harms, including suicidal ideation and behaviour and other serious adverse events in the Paroxetine group and cardiovascular problems in the imipramine group."

A truly free market of integrative, natural medicine would bring healing back to Western medicine

As drug companies and the FDA collude to bring American people "medicine" that causes cellular damage and suicidal tendencies, a truly free market of healing awaits. It's found in an entirely different approach.

Integrative natural medicine works because of a basic understanding that the body's systems are connected, not separate. Integrative, naturopathic approaches look at the body, mind and spirit as a whole and investigate the cause of imbalances. This approach empowers individuals to be in charge of their own health, instead of neglecting it only to cry out for pharmaceutical intervention later on. Abandoning pharmaceutical philosophy leads people toward a more prevention-minded lifestyle that addresses the root causes of health issues. In this reckoning, food becomes medicine and nutrition becomes the key to restoring the cells and organs. Plant medicines are sought to correct imbalances in the body. Sometimes healing is not a measurable thing. Sometimes the thoughts and emotions of a person must be considered and understood as well.

Anti-parasitic herbal protocol more effective and cost-friendly for parasitic conditions

Instead of spending enormous amounts of money and growing ill on the parasite treatment pill Daraprim, patients could instead seek to eliminate parasites naturally using cleansing, holistic, anti-parasitic herbal protocols. This approach would boost the health of the entire body, while helping it overcome bacterial, viral, fungal and parasitic infection. This protocol could include substances like garlic, which is already effective against roundworm, tapeworm, and giardia. Black walnut hull can be taken as an extract or supplement and is strong against general fungal infections, including ringworm. Neem, goldenseal and olive leaf are three more powerful plant medicines used against infection. An herb called wormwood kills parasites in their larvae stage. The amino acids Ornithine and arginine can be used to detox from the excess ammonia and nitrogen released by dying parasites.

The point is this: Western medicine is a system dominated by pharmaceuticals that are obviously causing more problems and not healing people. With a more free market in health care, doctors could learn more about prevention, nature, energy work, herbal medicine and holistic approaches. The healing protocols that work best would become more available and less expensive as doctors and patients learn the truth and apply it.
