Post office bs!!!!

What's up EG? I sent a pack out Friday after Thanksgiving to my homeboy in Alabama, tracking says Monday is the day to arrive, I check the tracking today and it went to the city where he lives but then it got sent to a place 4 hours away? What the hell? Has anyone ever had this happen? This is the first, I have sent this guy several packs. Will they update tracking and re route it to him? Thanks for any advice.

Yeah they have done same exact thing. There just human mistakes. Or there being lazy and not completely unloading stuff

The tracking number got updated and it's back in the town he lives in and out for delivery. But my boy is TRIPPING telling me to cancel the delivery and everything....lol, I'm just gonna ignore him today and let his pack get delivered and he don't accept it he is out 400.

Over the last couple years the USPS has shut down a lot of hubs. The result of that, is if a package can't get delivered due to time constraints, it has to go to the nearest hub location and wait until the next business day. Happens to me all the time, the closest one to me is about 3 hours away.

Tracking got updated this morning and it's in his town, or the hub of his town I should say. But this guy is a paranoid freak!!! He's trying to get me to cancel the delivery....lmao

The post office gets lots of grief but if one considers the bazillions of pieces of mail that goes through there on a daily basis, their margin of error is pretty small.

Glad you got your deal sorted, bama. Stuff like that can make a person a lil nervous.

He needs to chill. If they were going to bust him the tracking would show its on time. Having it bounce around would make someone suspicious and ruin the "bust"

i had one go to the town in the southeast US (where is was supposed to) then next day went to california... the back to the southeast.. then back to california... .. did that about 3 times... but it finally showed up... was like 2 weeks late

Of course, it got re routed, then he called me and asked me to cancel the order....lol. I grew up with him, and he is OVER PARANOID....lol. Every time I send a pack, my wife and I sit back and laugh like hell. When he got it yesterday, he called and said " I aged 10yrs on that one"

I seen this before , it has happened to me. My package was international next states over, mext thing it went to the middle of the country and sat there for two days. I called the post office got a nice lady on the phone she assured me that it was a mistake and noticed the last 3 digits of the zipcode were the same and thats probably why it happen. Two days after it arrived at my door steps. I dont even sign for those, they just leave them for me. I have usually two mailmen I tip them during the holidays.
