Anyone else seeing a spike in produce prices?
Roma tomatoes almost 50% more today, sweet potatoes as well. Onions, cucumbers bananas also up. Didn't check everything just noticed the items I bought, was a fng sticker shock!

No surprise there I’ll find out tomorrow if it’s over here too, but everything‘s going to go up with the tariffs. I just saw a medical supply company on the Nightly News contemplating to buy their supplies from China again. A lot of medical supplies are made in China they are low on a lot of respiratory supply products. And the prices have doubled. They’re thinking of going with another company I think it was in Columbia, but they are already overwhelmed. So the prices on syringes will go up to. So it looks like it’s gonna be Test only cycles for a lot of us for while.

I was just shocked produce went up that much, was thinking gotta be a seasonal thing with some tariff possibly. Maybe store changed suppliers etc. A few cents one thing, sweet potatoes were like 79 cents a pound a few weeks ago, 1.39 today I believe. Romas were 89 cents, today 1.29 or 1.39 can't remember exactly

Here in Texas prices haven't changed on produce, egg prices have actually dropped slightly.
