So I'm going to a new gym primarily. I like besides going in and the kids from the night before don't put shit back.

I go into bench, EVERY rack had benches moved out, The regular bench press didn't have a single 45 pound plate.

My sides so fucked moving benches is actually dangerous, I can move a 45 but not everyone I need from completely opposite side of gym.

How hard is it to put shit back? I even put my shit back and I'm partly paralyzed!

Bro. As a gym owner it’s a struggle. I literally get a fucking workout putting weights back up every day. Im about to start charging to there accounts if they leave weights out. I’ll make a flyer stating if you don’t rerack your weight you will be charged 10$ extra a month.

also.. wipe down your workout area when you're done with it lol.. ive seen sweat ladened crap .. i always wipe after.. my gym provides paper towels and disinfectant spray .. yet some dont spent the less than 1 minute to wipe stuff down

This new age of tic tac toe video takers is getting old, I’ve seen some old heads throw phones, take there gym bag to the trash can and some real matches, but everytime without fail the 120lb kid always just walks away, they don’t know what working out is. They are there for one thing, buddy time that’s it

Big facts. Unfortunately for revenue I gotta watch all these new age fuck boys do this because they are paying customers lol. I try to instill hardness in them but they are all too soft.

My gym does have a clean up fee, and the owner is stickler about it. Reason being the fun boys were being disrespectful and the morning crew is full of older peeps like 70 and up.

This is one of my biggest gym etiquette pet peeves. For me this is up there with resting on the equipment between sets. Most of the time is young kids that do this.

When I know they are done using a machine or bench and have left a mess.....I will ask them......"Hey you all done using that bench" with no intentions of using it. "Yea man...we're done"......me....."then you need ta clean up your mess" and then they listen.

Ohh that's fucked up, and if there's video it should be easy for staff to identify the culprits and perhaps even warn them of the rules. If the 70 year olds have do deal with that then yeah the young clowns need to face the consequences.

I gotta agree. And a pet peeve of mine is when people be slamming dumbells or just dropping them from high up. I get it if it a barbell load super heavy. But when there are signs all over asking people to not slam dumbells because it's bending and breaking them....then please don't. My coach way back in high school always said if you can't control the weight then don't lift it or use spotters.

Bro half of my dumbbells in my gym are fucked because of this. They only cost 2$ a lb I mean who gives a fuck right :/

Truth. It's just respecting the gym owners wishes. Poor guy ends up spending money he shouldn't have to.

I’ll be honest, my gym don’t make a lot of profit off just members. Strictly because I have to fix the broken stuff. I have to sell supplements, clothing, drinks ect.. to make a profit. Let’s hypothetically say I profited 2k a month, break one commercial machine that’s 2-5k. I’m glad I bought the gym for the convenience of getting in shape 24-7 but it’s a headache an definitely don’t make a lot of money.

Man that does suck. But good you get to stay in shape and help others do the same.

To me.....these are kids wanting attention.
