Receiving open mail/packages

So i know its pretty common to receive envelopes where maybe the corner is torn open a little bit. But today i received an amazon package completey open. One of the items fell out when i took it out the mailbox. It was in a brown amazon padded envelope and was open completely across the top right under the adhesive area. It was not a clean cut so cant tell of someone opened it or of it happened to rip and tear while shipped or when stuffed in my mailbox (it was a larger square box inside the envelope so it qas a tad tight in there.) Just thought it was odd. It does appear it was delivered via usps. Makes me wonder, is usps opening my packages for some reason?

Way overthinking it iv had packages like that to those companies don’t care about the pack job it’s just get this out as quick as possible unlike our vendors. I had a pack full of pins get tore in a sorting machine needles were hanging out the corner they just taped over it and sent it on its way. One of my family members works for the PO the only thing they are worried about is that delivery scan nothing more

I delivered for Amazon before I started driving Tractor trailers for them and we used to deliver shit open all the time bro.
I actually had a tape gun with me just for that purpose .

I’ve got a friend that works for PO. That’s what he said. They just want to get the pack scanned and out the door.

I have found that whenever I ship regular parcel post packages are gonna get banged up.
