Let’s see if we can come together and save some money. Post your resources for vial, tops, packaging, presses, filters, BB & BA, scales, ect..
Equipment to make brewing easier that we may not have have that could be a game changer?

From my experience quality sometimes out weighs low prices, visa versa in some situations. Example: A quality scale can be the difference in dosages, like wise for filtering processes.

Saving money and time is the goal but having quality product is most important. Let’s hear your set up eg family

I know home brew saves soooooo much money. One batch can last 5-10 Years. I still try other vendors just to support them and try blends out I'd never do at home....but the basics homebrew for sure.

That’s basically what I do, I do eventually wanna learn blends.

Making blends is simple. Blends are the same as brewing single compounds. Just stick with reasonable concentrations and if you want to push the concentration a little use MCT oil.

Stay away from miglyol as a carrier oil. The higher concentrations it allows are not worth the risk. You can push concentrations with some compounds well over 400mg/ml.

What kind of filter system you guys using for faster processing.
If you have the proper tools use bottle top or Buchner filters. If you don’t have the proper equipment just use syringe filters.

A lot of people use bottle tops and don’t have autoclaves or laminar flow hoods, but it’s not worth the risk. You can stay reasonably sterile without it but I don’t like taking risks with injectables.

I have done batches of up to 300mls using syringe filters and caulk guns.

Yep. I love MCT even if I'm not pushing the concentration. And even better than MCT is MIG. It's like a more refine MCT and holds even higher and is thinner yet.

You should do some bloodwork and check your c reactive protein levels. If you do the test while using mig switch your carrier oil for 6 to 8 weeks and re test. Not everyone has issues with systemic inflammation from mig but a lot of people do. My levels were a lot higher than I wanted and since I don’t use mig or use very little to burn up some last supplies my levels are within range.

I personally stick with oils like sesame, castor, cso, and gso. I also noticed using MiG causes compounds to clear much faster regardless of ester. I personally like to use castor oil which gives a slower more steady release.
