Actually, Weidman broke his leg. When Silva tried a leg kick Weidman raised his knee to block, kinda' like blocking down on a sidekick with your elbow to his ankle. Legal move meant to injure.

Yeah, I just looked it up, now I get it.

Great point Hanzo, I love the elbow to the ankle/calve. It's my go-to for kicks-counter. I've used it alot. And the elbow to the fist is a classic one too, but it takes more practice to get the distance/timing right on that one(at least for me).
