Sinus surgery

I had sinus surgery today. It was intense. Had balloon sinuplasty plus some bone removal. Near an Hour and half procedure. Pain is intense.

God be with any of you all who plan to have sinus surgery. I recommend Valium & Percocet for pain management and to assist with being able to sleep.

Ive had it done. I looked like someone beat me with chains. No improvement after surgery

You have my sympathies DD. I've had sinus surgery twice. It's awful. I wish you the best results.

it was a sinuplasty, some bone removal from a deviated septum, they cut out the sinus sacs and chiseled the bone away, then put splints inside the nose for a week.. glad i did it, i can really breath compared to life before

I had a deviated septum and rhinoplasty two separate surgeries. Not much pain since I was on pain killers

Well 3 days from the day I had the major sinus surgery. Sitting in a dr office right now awaiting a follow up. Bleeding eventually stopped after 30-35 hours from the moment I had surgery. Now just dealing with discharge.

I've lowered my pain medicine dose from Percocet to Vicodin(half a tab) every 6 hours.

Finally feeling better.

Next week I get a cpap machine for sleep apnea. I'm going to feel super gay wearing it at night but I know it's needed.

Nearly 6 days since surgery and my head/sinus areas ache still with pressure. Tons of blood clots were blown out. I totally pray for anyone having sinus surgery in future. My front of my face under eyes and head and eyeballs feel like tremendous pressure. Currently taking hydrocodone 10/325 every 5 hours which helps but doesn't alleviate the sinus headache.
