How many hours sleep do you usually get? I have had insomnia die years and even if I take a sleeping pill I only get 6 to 7 hours.

im luck to get 5 , using sleeping pills now to get that , good day is 6-7 most days is 3 cause i wake up from pain or bathroom necessity all night

I have kids one is still a baby, plus work they give me 64-80 hours
on a good day ill get 6 hours for the most part i get 3 (I take naps when ever I can)

Ambien has a opposite reaction, I 12.5 mg phenegran and sleep pretty much through the night.

8-10 hrs during the week. Weekend might be 10-12hrs. Love my sleep. Ambein worked amazing for me years ago when I had trouble sleeping. 10-15 minutes after I took it could barley make it up the stairs to bed. Lol

I'm lucky on days I get 6 when my schedule gets this hectic.
Forces me to cut my workouts to 3 or 4x per week max. Only way to keep growing and stay healthy with such little sleep at my level of training.

only 6-7? I couldn't tell you in what year the last time I slept over 4

I was getting 2 to 3 hours sleep a night for years, bad insomnia. My new Dr put me on klonopin and it is the only thing that has helped me 2mg a night at least helps me get enough rest to keep going and feel good some mornings. My body adapts to drugs very quickly so I asked her to alternate my sleeping meds so now I alternate the klonopin with Trazadone.
One thing is I don't have an addictive personality so I am ok but Klonopin is highly addictive.

I'm lucky enough to get 4-6 a night, I go to bed early as hell ... Like 7 or 8 pm... Just so I can sit there and try to fall asleep. Once I am out, I wake up a lot through the night. Sucks but it is what it is.

I have nightmares with Ambien. I take eszopiclone (Lunesta).
