I am a powerlifter. I have competed in one strong man contest and that was enough for me. That is serious hard work. I love the iron and it wouldnt be beyond me to do a BB show some day. 90% of what I do is in a power rack with a bar and plates. Not a great fan of machines but they have their place. I am only doing TRT right now and thinking how much I miss being cock strong. These are some of my favorites. Floor press, if you dont know what this is YT it. Bench laying on floor stop when elbows touch floor and press it up. I did 430 last cycle. Incline press. The set up at our gym is super steep. I would rather drop it down a bit but whatever. I did 380 and feel good with that. Next cycle I want 400. Power clean/press, I hate these but I think they are awesome. I am terrible at these 200lbs and I feel like a pussy but I will improve my weakness to become stronger.
Box squat, Again love/hate. I am a poor squater with long legs and torso. Did reps with 405 today but should be doing alot more. Zerchers, again YT it. Its half squat half deadlift with the bar in the crook of your arms. I have done 405 out of the rack with the plates about 6inchess off the floor. Im 6ft 3, no way Im getting that off the floor but I know guys that do. What do you guys like?
