Sports injury ? - kneecap & leg

Guys,

My left kneecap hurts, I'm not sure how it occurred. It doesn't hurt to walk or stand on, only if I kneel down on it. It reminds me of the pain I had one time when I tripped and landed on my knees years ago. There's no bruising or swelling at all.

Also my right leg near my hip bone on my right side the area where some people do injections (sorry forgot the name of this specific area) is sore from doing splits.

Any suggestions on relief?

It may be a bone spur. Back in my tile and carpet install days I had something like this. IT never really went away bro. To this day, 15 yrs later if I kneel a certain way - I see stars!

Man bro that sounds a lot worse than what's going on with my knee! Damn
