Squats how I hate thee!

After long hiatus of doing squats now that my energy is returning I worked in a light leg day.
Holy SHIT are my legs aching!

Not only cause my gimp leg but simply so long without true squats, definitely feeling the BURN
 
i don't do them all that often either, but when i do, i notice that they seem to activate more muscles than the other leg work i do.
 
id been doing body weight holding onto smith bar working my way up, damn feel so much more!
 
i have some sort of rhomboid issue so it hurts/is awkward with a bar on my back recently--for about the past 3 months or so. i recently discovered the safety squat bar tho--i think that's what it's called--made by Rogue. that seems to alleviated some of the pressure on my back.
 
i cant do standard shoulder dont allow it, why i do zercher
 
If you're having shoulder issues ie. getting them in position with a regular bar then definitely check out a SSB. It takes all the pressure off the shoulders. You can squat without even holding the bar.
 
@BrotherIron i prefer zerchers anyways 😉
not shoulder pain weakness inability to even move it
