HUMBOLDT, Tenn. - A man was taken into custody after he allegedly ran a steroid lab in West Tennessee, officials said.
On Wednesday, agents with the West Tennessee Drug Task Force conducted a drug search at an old Walmart building on North Central Avenue in Humboldt, Tenn. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) and the Humboldt Police Department assisted in the search.
The location was the second time in the past year law enforcement had conducted a drug search, officials said.
There, federal agents seized a steroid lab, suspected finished steroids, tianeptine, marijuana and multiple pills, in addition to six weapons, six vehicles and over $21,000 in cash, officials said.
A man out on bail from previous charges was taken into custody and now faces multiple new charges, including "maintaining a drug location," officials said. He was taken to the Gibson County jail to be arraigned.
The man was not identified.
