what are your guys thoughts/ opinions on carb cycling? Im starting mine tomorrow, and i'll be doing 200, 150, 100, and then back to 200 on day 4. will be eating apprx 5 times day. just wondering if any of you have tried this and what were your results? any opinions/info is greatly appreciated my friends.

I used to run a similar carb cycle. I just never felt motivated. My body needed more. So now I just manage them to suit the way my body feels and to what my workout is. Seems to work. But everyone is different. Give it a shot, sounds like a solid plan

I have been running what some may call a carb cycle but it's basically just very low carb intake. I was noticing that every time I would eat carbs I would immediately start to feel very tired and had a nutritionist tell me to teyy a lower carb diet and from the beginning I had great success. I dropped most carbs from all meals with exception of pre workout meal when I would take in small amount of simple and larfer amouts of complex carbs just to satisfy workout needs. I upped protein also for all meals and gains that I had been lacking on started to slowly come back. So to try any version of carb cycling I would say would be a great way to see how your body responds to different diets.

Back4more, you nailed it here. I'm in the same boat when it comes to carbs. For me a little goes a long way. I have been basically doing what you are doing for almost 2 years, but keep track of calories and have cheat days every Saturday and Sunday. I'll also take a week off in the Summer and around Christmas where I eat what I want for a week. It works well for me.

I used it to drop from 247 to 203 in 5 months after college. But I just did high, med, low, med, high (m, t, w, th, f) then sat and sun were restricted but no measuring

I carb load before long exercise or events like sport competition but not as a daily thing, i try to get carbs from vegetables on the week days

appreciate the responses guys. i'll let you all know the progress and put in my 2 cents on carb cycling after i'm on it for awhile

I tried the carb cycle thing with some dude I hired on line a while back I lasted 3 weeks or so. It made me feel deflated all the time. I couldn't stand it. When i get my carbs in me and drinking plenty of water, I feel tight and jacked.

Not a big fan on traditional carb cycling. I like to base my carb intake based on training days or activities. Basically just eat more carbs when you need them eat less when you don't..
The K.I.S.S method!!
