That damn socialist only helping the top 1%

The 1% will always find ways to make money. I wouldn't give that credit to Obama. The overtaxing of the middle class is more his style.

I was being facetious lol
I think it has more to do with the greed in our society and the unwillingness to help your fellow man

Haha got it.

My wife and I started our own company 2.5 years ago and lemme just say - pumpin' ain't easy. Taxed up the ass. With state income tax included, we are over 50% taxed - and for all of that socialism we still have to pay through the nose for healthcare. Somethin ain't right.

That being said we are kicking ass and taking names. As well as providing jobs that wouldn't exist if our company didn't exist.

If we were allowed to keep more of our hard earned money we could expand and create even more jobs. So from my perspective - the govt needs to back the fuck up and let businesses handle business.

When is everybody going to get that Big Government proponent's, be they R's or D's, are all socialists of 1 stripe or another? Especially the moderates who are cowards and stand for nothing, or everything, depends on the prevailing wind direction.

In the world of politics socialism, communism, fascism, Islamism ..... all are merely a means to an end, that being global totalitarianism. If you think I'm crazy, just how many "new freedoms" have we received from our gracious government vs. new restrictive laws?

extremists often don't care about 'facts' and only what sounds good...

Yeah in my experience small business owners are doin it the right way. Its the huge conglomerates that breed the greediness and the wealth difference

Meh. It's nothing new. In fact it's what helped build this country. It's just the way the world works.

Their size isnt the problem. The problem is how they compensate their employees. The CEO may make 100 times more than the average worker. This is what is causing the wealth gap

I don't know bro, I don't really see that as a problem. Business is business, it's all about the dollars.

Honestly I'm not interested enough in economics to claim I have much of an understanding of the wealth gap. I just know what I've lived through.

I worked for one of those big corps, the one that rhymes with schamazon, for over a decade knowing full well that the CEO was a billionaire while I was making an average salary. It didn't bother me because I was grateful that I had a job.

Then I decided to make my own move, liquidated nearly everything I had and started my own company. I took a massive amount of risk, putting my families well being on the line. And it paid off. So yes I pay my employees far far less than I pay myself. And I wouldn't change that even if I started making millions upon millions.
