I just tore my bicep doing heavy deads
ive been doing them for decades now, as I am older than most members here.

never had a problem, and then today, pop! gone!
what should I do?
the inner head is completely detached.

ive been reading and most things say surgery is unnecessary.
I don't see how it's unnecessary.

anyone been down this road before?

def see a dr bro if you haven't...
my nephew had his tricep do similar he needed surgery and rehab still bugs him

I have torn several muscles over the years...both pecs, hammy's, just to name a few. It will all be dependent on how severe your tear is. There are several grades of years but if its completely detached I think surgery is your only option.

I agree with this. Depending on the grade of tear you may not want to rehab it yourself.

I saw you posted anonymously. PM me if you need a good surgeon. I know A guy that works with Pro teams.

You DEF want to see a Dr. and get surgery for that. I don't see any other way bro. If it's completely dettatched, Surgery !!
