Good morning AA!! Last year I started my own business and the name is True Vision Lawn Care. My wife and I have a heart to help the less fortunate and the ones that society as a whole has just written off, so a few months after my business starting up, my wife says she wants to start going downtown to where all the homeless people are and serve them whether it be food, clothes, hygiene products, hats, socks, whatever.
So we started an outreach also and it's named True Vision Community Outreach, the vision is simple, "Love people where they are, without an agenda." We do not go there to preach to them, alot of times we do not even mention anything like that, we just want them to know someone cares and loves them, and when it is brought up, which happens alot, " Why are you doing this" then that is our open door to share our life experience and how we overcame through the love of Jesus. I share my story of being on methamphetamine for 17 years alot, and it may or may not happen right away, but we are not the one to control that, we believe we are just to go love them and plant seeds of hope and love.
We have not been able to go for awhile due to my wife having a tough time with these identical twin boys we have, but she is doing well and we are going to where we love to go today and spend time with our friends down there. They are no different than you and I, maybe just made some bad choices or what have you, and that is our heartbeat is to make sure they feel like somebody, cause they are, just because they are homeless does not mean they are not human and have needs. Thank you for reading.
