Vanilla Reload

Hey guys I just got off the phone with Vanilla Reload. Apparently there has been some theft of cards. I bought one lastnite and the the lady from Vanilla said the money was taken before I left the store lastnite. I still have my receipt. She said I needed to contact the police and file a police report for theft. Then Vanilla would be able to verify my claim and give me a refund. She said this has been happening since the holidays have started and there fraud department is in contact with authorities to find who is doing this. Now my question is do I do all this or just say fuck it? The card was for $220. Need some input from you guys

If you got a clean record I would buy the credit card that it reloads and tell them...you use it cause you don't have a credit card. Or need it to reload a card for a kids birthday, I actually gave one to my son so he doesn't carry cash.

I dont have a clean record. But my question is do I call the police and file a report? Or do I say fuck it and go somewhere else and buy another Vanilla for $220? The lady at Vanilla said this is happening alot lately so everyone needs to be careful

Every time I buy my vanilla cards or reloadits they always say hold onto the receipt thst they give you and if there is an issue go back to the people that sell them and they take care of it, but even the cops won't do anything, just file it. But if you say it was gone before you left the store that sounds fishy.

Thats what the lady at Vanilla told me. I still have my receipt. I bought my card at 6:41pm. She said its happening alot.

I know! at least it gives you piece of mind! Buy WU charges more to send money one state over than sending money to China! 😡

Hmmm that makes sense. But I've sent money to China and asked for the funds to be received in US dollars and the charge was the same. I guess they didn't make much money in those transfers. That's why I was shocked on how expensive WU the 1st time I used western union domestic.

If no one get the email with the MTC# and other info, they can still walk in and get yo cash unless you require ID under $300. Over $300 they require it so not a issue. But if you use Safemail and it's under $300 be careful or use EG PM to send final info.

This is why I use the secure form for my orders. There's no email for someone to hack 😛

The form automatically encrypts what you enter in the message box, and it goes straight to me. No email involved.

Crap that k god for this forum and sharing info...my wife uses vanilla reload often and this has possibly helped her avoid loosing money! Thank u for spreading the word

Blue who cars if you have a clean record or not, you did not get pinched from a murder scene. Go to your local PD show them your receipt and have them fill out the paperwork, I highly doubt they will check your record as no complaint was filed.
