Vision loss due to AAS usage

I have been on aas for over 10yrs cruise and blast. I had an infection @ inject site back a bit. When I took meds for infection I lost almost all sight in both eyes. I thought it was from meds but NOT the case. I had to wait for some time to see an eye specialist because of the Chinese virus. It was a nitemare cause the loss of sight was so abrupt. When I saw the doc she said you got bad cataracts that come on this way they are caused by steroids! I never had eye problems and did not go for regular exams. I thank God cause the doc got me in just recent for surgery and gave me back 20/20. Brothers get your eyes checked! I think I had read about these eye issues on one of the forums yrs back never thought this would happen. I hope this warns other vets what can happen. The good thing is it is fixable. Makes you really grateful for your eyes. AAS use has its cost for sure but the benefits prevail.

Thats why I haven t been on much since you and I talked last. Thanks but everything is good now and I got a new attitude of gratitude for my sight!

Oh so you recovered your sight? If so that's a relief as some meds might affect vision. I have lost my hearing as a kid and I value my own eyesight more.

Not on Anabolic but at times they follow similar stuff

I did get a couple of cort shots when I screwed my rotator years ago but mainly blast and cruise multiple compounds over the years lots nolva in the old days then formastane recent aromasin and arimidex. Don t think lot of ai use had anything to do with it but read something about nolva effecting eyes as well.

could be a combo of the drugs, mix in genetics etc
