Brother...Radiohead is not only the best band out there but also the most respected. The Bends (great album)...Kid A (Great album)...Insomniac (Great Great album)...OK Computer (Brought by the gods). They are really considered to be the current Pink Floyd of the music world. No two albums are identical and they have permission to and do constantly break the mold and shake up the status quo.

I'll have to check them out.I really dont know shit about any new bands out there today.Just never could get into the style of music these days.But i'll look into them.

LMFAO.I have to be honest,I never had a bad acid trip.

i think i had only one, took a little too much and had some anxiety. i listened to Pink Floyd all that night. i haven't listened to them that extensively since. the rest of my trips were mostly just a lot of fun, although i overdid it with mushrooms once and that was a bit hectic too lol

Brothers...I'm going to give you a band that influenced Nirvana...Pearl Jam...Radiohead...Foo Fighters. They single handily ushered in the grunge age. What is the name of the band that changed music for more than a decade....THE PIXIES! At first I was like "Heard of them...but don't care". But then I listened to Surfa Rosa (their first studio album) and my eyes were opened. Peter Gabriel...David Bowie and numerous other old timers love the Pixies.

My favorite (non-Christian)album of ALL TIME is definitely Queensryche: Operation Mindcrime

It's a concept album, and the storyline is amazing.

The political messages were appropriate for the 1988, but even more so now!!!
"I used to trust the media to tell me the truth, tell us the truth,
But now I see the payoffs everywhere I look, who do you trust when everyone's a crook?"

"But now the holy dollar rules everybody's lives, gotta make a million doesn't matter who dies.
Revolution calling, revolution calling, revolution calling you"

But it's not strictly a political album, but also has love, murder, drug addiction, intrigue all woven into a complex story.
Anyway, I love this album.
