Let's see who ya think the best Bodybuilder is of the 21st Century ???
And not because of how many Mr. Olympia's they've won, Overall !!!
I'm interested in seeing the responses.
I for one think Jay Cutler is def one of the top 5, and also Phil Heath & Dennis Wolf !!! Fuckin monsters in the game !!!

I think Shawn Rhoden has one of the most impressive physiques out there. How does a turtle belly like Kai beat Rhoden......

The Welsh Dragon is by far the most superior BB in the industry today, I know I know, he is only a 212 competitor but did you see him at the Olympia, Man that guy had the best overall physique I have ever seen. Dennis Wolfe is very impressive as well and gets shafted far to often. Kai Greene has been one of my favorites for the longest time. Jay Cutler I have never like, he did look good back in the day when he wasn't so wide, but lost it awhile ago. Phil Heath is very very impressive. Old Ronnie was the monster of monsters!

He's not a monster in size but Dexter Jackson has very good lines. He was always in the top of the class in almost every show he did. There's just so many to choose from. For me it's not about size as much as how pleasing to the eye there Symmetry is.

Man I completely spaced out Dexter, that guy is by far one of the best!

Bump for Dexter

What do you mean by best ?

The "best" bodybuilder would be with NO DOUBT

RON COLEMAN

note i wrote "best" ... not the personal fave physique for that you might take a look at these here :

Nasser, Levrone, Flex wheeler, Haney, Serge Nubret, Arnie, Segio Olivia, Yates, Shawn Ray ,Labrada, Dexter Jackson, Frank Zane , Bob Paris...

Phil health dont even come into my top 10 he has no real muscle.

All very impressive BodyBuilders 24 , but I'm talkin bout the 21st Century !!! Ron Coleman I say "yes" in his early days , now he just looks like crap !!! Dexter, yes almost forgot bout that monster.
And very true it's not all about the how big or how many Olympia wins and what not but how physique is and overall look and beast factor !!!

Yea 24 best look, physique overall !!!
There's a lot right now. And I agree Flexatron, and don't forget Ramy !!!

Im just amazed with the confidence and intensity of Dorian Yates. When he walked on stage, there was no doubt in his mind he was #1. His workouts were incredibly intense and his mindset was somewhere off this planet. He wasn't a show-off kept to himself. When asked for an interview or photo shoot he'd reply Im working out and this time tomorrow take all the pics you want. My kid found some interviews on him they're pretty comical and very down to earth with his dry sense of humor. He also had the balls to talk about cycles and AAS. I just really like the guy. No HOMO

Shawn Rhoden. Dude is a beast and has Shawn ray symmetry, he'll be a Mr O champ if he plays his politics right.

Hmmm...if you break it down by decades I think it goes like this

60s...Serve Olivia...Larry Scott
70s...Arnold...Zane
80s...Lee Haney...Labrada...Gaspari
90s...Flex Wheeler...Ron Coleman (99 he looked his best)
00s... Colman...Cutler
10s...Heath...Wolfe

If I rank them overall
13...Scott (nice package but smooth)
12...Cutler (good but boxy)
11...Coleman 2000s (huge but that GH gut)
10...Wolfe (good but will always finish just 2 or 3rd)
09...Coleman 90s
08...Arnold (trend setter but no quads)
07...Labrada
06...Gaspari
06...Heath (he may wind up the best)
05...Olivia (way ahead of his time)
04...Haney (transition between classic and freak era)
03..Coleman 90s (you can see a dramatic diff pre GH)
02... Zane (way underrated physique)
01...Flex Wheeler (fuckin car wreck)

Im with you TM. BB peaked in the 80s. Most pros after that time look impresive but gross to me. I prefer the look of Arnold, Lee Haney, Sergio and that time.

Bob Paris
Mohammad Makaway
Phil Hill
The Black Prince
Albert Beckles
Mike Christian
Bob Birdsong
Mohammad Benaziza
Gary Strydom
Andreas Muzner

All with symmetry...aesthetics and pi sing was an art done to classical music and not a 1 man porno done to techno.

X-Frame Baby, Definitely produced the best Mr. O's without question!!!!
Scott, Zane, Sergio, Arnold...etc,. But, alas, they don't meet the 21century criteria. Today's Bodybuilders only care about Mass. Kai is a frigging joke....He's huge, but he's a box with legs! Roden has a great physique and is definitely a major player. You got guys Like Dexter Jackson that just don't get the recognition they deserve because they didn't go to 270. But, we're starting to see the competing weights coming down. I for one would love to see the symmetry and conditioning come back into the decision making.....this get as freaky big as you can crap is just really disappointing! Don't get me wrong, seeing these guys on the street...they're friggin monsters and incredibly impressive, but that isn't what the "O" was all about.
