So my gimp ass at the job I recently left fell and cracked a tooth. Insurance covering an implant so I got the implant installed today.

I'm shocked how easy and quickly it was done. Now if they weren't so damn expensive!

Maaaaan i wish my ins would cover that! I got crackhead teeth from years of energy drink use. I still have all my front teeth (thank gods) but srsly wish i could get implants for the molars i am missing

I have one implant put in when I had a cracked infected tooth removed. My ins did cover most of it but still $300 out of pocket for it.

My regular insurance won't cover a dime of an implant. I have another missing tooth but not paying 8 grand out of pocket

damn with good dental like that you got a team batting for you at work thats badass! I got no annual limit on paid procedures, but its limited unfortunately implants aren't covered, which i think is bs lol it does cover braces for the most part for my kids etc but not when they turn adult age lol

Maybe it’s location, but I’d find another dentist. An implant with bone graft should not run more than $3500 for a single. You’re getting rooked… drive to another state if you have to. You can fly here rent a condo on the beach for 3 days, get the implant and fly home for less than $5k.

They cost way more than that where I live even research online says as much. Plus have to go where insurance is accepted

I just paid out of pocket 2 years ago, was $3400, no insurance. $1500 down, made payments on the balance. Either way, dental insurance is cheap. I’d shop around for sure… $7k hurts!!!

Depends on what's all needed for implant , I have shopped around. A basic one can run 3500. One after porcelain crown, bone grafts etc ups the price.

Yeah I got the tits and ass platinum, best available for under $3.5k all the shit, screw implant in 1 day, come back when the tooth is ready. The whole shebang

Implant was 1 day but I needed more done. Trust me I have researched and contacted numerous places. $3500 is on the low end with not much needing to be done. A top crown can cost $3000 or more alone. Bone graft averages $600+


No 2 implant procedures are the same and again my insurance is covering it fully so far

Oh, shit I thought you said it cost $7k. If you got insurance paying who fucking cares how much it costs. So they have to mold the crown, send it off and have it made. You leave with a temporary. The all in 1 day places around here are few and they are ghetto. They mostly extract teeth and fit dentures, gold teeth, shit like that lol
