The government may be hiding or might actually be completely lost. Can you prove without questionable doubt the government does not have the stats? Maybe there is a reason for them not providing it. Be open minded and look at all the possibilities. The Government does what is in their best interest. Until recently no one knew a single thing about tor and the marketplaces involved with it. The Government had known of this problem since the 1990s. If you even want "evidence" look at what democrats and republicans have said in arguments. The Government has a lot of information hidden from the general population so who really knows?

So it is not common sense that the government doesn't have a single clue on the amount of undocumented individuals. Do you hold in a high position in the government and know otherwise? I doubt it so stop being a smart ass. Also stop being racist and calling them "illegal immigrants". They are not bad people and are just simply undocumented individuals. Yes a lot of them are in prison , but you also have to see where they come from. They are coming from countries where they might of have been getting extorted, seeing gun fights on a daily basis,and are looking for a better place to be. So yes if you have been around a bad environment your whole life , you will not have the same logical reasoning as someone who has always been in a good environment. Money pays for better education, bigger homes , no need to steal for food. These individuals don't tend to have lots of money so they don't always have their basic needs. If you had the choice of either dying from starvation or stealing food what would you do?

yes I'll have to agree that yes they are breaking a law. However you shouldn't refer them to as criminals either. Most of them are running away from poor countries and are simply looking for a better life.
