I think my dumb ass missed something...just hit the area with 1 1/2 and its causing a little cramping in the area.

WackerI like going a little lower than that actual muscle and a little toward the back.
 
I been doing very close to this area and loving it.
 
Just did VG right now. . Loving it..

Go for it! It looks worse than it is the video really helped me feel like I was in the right spot at least. I hit it with 3 ml yesterday and did legs lastnight without any issues.
 
I'm liking this VG shot very minor pip in the area the days after injection. Today I hit my left side which is normally awkward when I do a regular glute shot. Very easy to hit, not awkward at all, barely felt pin going in or out!!

That's what I'm talking about. You can pour (lol) volumes of gear in also.

how am I supposed to find the spot if I don't get the muscle pop out when I flex. It pops on my right glute but not my left

It's the same on both sides just pin the same spot as the right..it's really a big spot and very forgiving. I prefer to go towards the front more than the middle like the video. When I go towards the back get a little sore in my lower back next day. I think it agitates my sciatic nerve when I pin to far back.

Actually if you watch a nurse lay it out for you there's a bit of leeway to the front or back, it's just hard to turn your hand backwards and pin between the fingers they tell you too. Your supposed to spread your fingers on your entire VG area, just below the iliac crest (hip bone), down to the trochanter (hip socket, more or less)You can go pretty far back. I've had worse pip in the front.

Ive been also hitting Lats again and loving it.I use 23g x 1 1/2 but have used 1 inch as well.Just another to hit in the rotation.I pin EOD day so any xtra spots the better.Very easy to get to and very meaty area with no nerves around it to hit.
I just stand in front of a mirror and reach one arm across my body and pull slightly on the arm im pinning with to get a better reach.
