Plain and simple I'm banning every newbie who does that bullshit in my next mod position (if I get the opportunity). I'm going old school cuz shit is getting out of control and shit is going to hit the fan sometime. It's just like pre Ordeal. It's the wild Wild West out there with the open source boards no security hardly ever except for here and a few other boards. As a whole the entire underground bodybuilding community didn't learn one damn thing from Operation Raw Deal. What I mean by that is its identical to pre Ordeal as I stated a few sentences ago. Open source boards for miles, instant access to tons of sources without making one single post! I mean atleast make it a little harder for the Feds

I believe there is a way to set a parameter so they can't make a single post until you accept the rules. (Which would have to be set) But there's no way to make it so they have to post an intro first. There is no way for the system to tell an "intro" from a "fuck you".

However, I am all for the "Accept the rules" to post requirements though.

There is a way to set a minimum number of posts before they can send a pm. I have been on boards where you had to have a minimum of 50 posts to send a pm to anyone and I believe there is a way to filter those posts so the only ones that count toward that 50 are posts not in the introduction section, which means they have to post in other sections which will be more quality posts and not just 50 welcome posts. I was on several boards back in the day that had that implemented, there should be a way to do it here.

Your correct there isn't a way to make them post an intro just to get them to post but posting something as opposed to nothing is good, and it may get them to post an intro!

I like TMM idea, 50post then you can PM or see sources. I'll admit one of first boards I was on was to find a source. But I had to make X amount of post to see the sources. That gave me a new respect for sources and for boards.

When they register and they get the email link to login can you edit the email to state "failure to make an intro thread in the new member section can/will result in loss of privileges? Also asking for sources is forbidden during the probationary period. Something along those lines would work

Grim is there a way to tag the new member in the automated intro?
This was it shoots them a notification and maybe more likely to add to it and introduce themselves.
