Trump & WorkForce & Meds

Unfortunately, companies won't be coming back to America anytime soon without radical change. When you can make things in other countries for fraction of the cost, companies will be there. Trump himself I'm sure has companies with products made in other countries for same reason, so odds of him changing that... Not looking good. Lol

Just stating facts thats all.

Nike is perfect example of why companies leave. Nike jumps country to country looking for cheap labor. Places were people will work 18 hour days, get hurt on job and not have to pay workmen's comp, provide medical coverage etc, etc. If Americans want these companies back this what you have to settle for.

These companies that are "coming back" you said a lot of them. Who are they?

Answer is none. Lol. Sad but true

companies work for 1 thing: profit, the more the better

the only reason a company will come back is to make more money. labourcosts cannot ever be lower then in super poor countries like asia and bangladesh etc. the west cannot and doesnt want to compete with these labourcosts. therefore the only reason a company will come back is to get money in form of tax breaks.
otherwise a company working abroad will not come back. so in fact we are paying with tax money for companies to come back, using tax to lure them back. considering trump is against government mixing with business this is a counter move to his ideology. hillary was supposed to be socialist and a commie, not trump. capitalist ideology dictates that companies must float on their own or go under, free economy.

but there is no other way companies will ever come back. and if they do all the money they get in tax breaks is create more automation which will lead to even greater loss of human jobs. companies use tax money to use even less people in 5-10yrs time. all in all not a sound economic plan.

the west can never compete with asian labour, cost and efficiency wise (they work non stop there). only way is to be smarter and export knowledge and base everything on knowledge. asia is the working basement of the world, the west is the university class thinking stuff up.

this poses a great challenge because we have millions working manual work so we are at the start of big changes. many will lose their jobs, already have, keeping jobs will be tougher and tougher, millions will need to be reeducated. huge changes

And Trump is proposing & stating that he will place a hefty tax against American companies who have factories aboard and force them to return.

On a side note Jinko & TK you both seem to be against Trump for whichever reason, which is fine, but may I ask did you vote and if you did who did you vote for?

hefty tax is for sure a good thing. apple is so called our usa company yet they pay zero taxes to the country. i would tax the shit out of such companies. selling us expensive shit made in cheap countries and then on top not paying anything to the country and coommonwealth.
but companies cannot be forced to return. we have free markets, forcing isnt part of free markets. indirect pushing through taxation might work in some parts ut forcing isnt even a legal option. companies are free to operate and have workers wherever they want.
so all in all its going to be a interesting period in next few yrs. some thing will get better and some worse, lets all talk about a year from now for some good first round results

Never said I was for him or against him. I'm facts guy. If I don't sing the praises I must be against him?
Now please can you name 10 companies coming back?

Ok who did you vote for buddy? It's a simple question and if you don't want to disclose it, then that's fine, just say so.

And no, I probably can't name 10 yet, but I truly believe in 6 months from now I'll be able to name 12, I have faith things will be better.

But I'm just curious who you voted for or did you vote at all.

Gee that took a while.

I voted 3rd party candidate.

Ok well that doesn't tell me who you voted for but it's okay, I understand some people like to discuss politics but don't like to disclose who they voted for in fear of backlash. I'm not the type to attack you verbally on who you voted for, but I understand.

me too. Jill Stein. i feel like Trump will be a disaster. Hillary might have been worse.

Trump just appointed Elon Musk as part of the economical advisory group. this is a great call, Musk is a great mind and business and his views on humanity and where we need to go are excellent. well done trump!

i didnt vote, both hillary and trump blew.
trump doesnt even understand the constitution and puts people into positions that are similiar to putting an abortion dr in charge of a day care.

promises been made, huge tax cuts given aka corporate welfare.

jobs mean nothing if more of the burden is put on the have nots...

yeah lol trump put the exxon CEO in a high position. of all companies exxon lol. i guess trump meant draining the swamp and taking out what was on the bottom feeding and now putting on top. that was a very bad move in my opinion

a pitiful Facebook meme.
And.so untrue.
Weve gotten promises with zero action and even if those promises occur they may very well be bad for us

Promises that have yet to be made or see the backlash of them...jobs at what cost?

Grim, you didn't vote but your so anti-Trump. Why didn't you vote for any of the independent candidates? Not like they could win, but basically not voting for someone else, was like voting for Trump..

Also yay for IBM! 25,000 jobs!
