FUCKING INSURANCE!

So my low back been BAD finally got to chiro few months ago
Insurance said it was covered, Chiro said he took insurance.
Only to find out BOTH lied had to pay FULLY out of pocket

So 2 weeks ago I go to new Chiro. Insurance sent me Dr list, dudes on it, they say manipulation fully covered.

Guess what I got today? A BILL not a penny paid.

Call insurance and their excuse they don't pay for the 'code'

Bloodwork for a physical....$385 I had to pay as insurance just covered 115. Highway robbery 😡😡😡

You need to go in and ask the doctor to change the “code” they have a good idea of what codes will work an what won’t. Iv had to do this a few times.

I have been going to my guy for over 10 years. I don't use my insurance, I pay out of pocket, $30. And he does accupuncture as well.
Def look into having the DR. change the code.

Codes make or break the procedure, my wife deals with incompetent billing and insurance people all the time. they expect the next person inline to fix their mistake.

I went to chiropractor that was supposed to be awesome. Good reviews and people from my gym recommended him. Never again. Went to PT and was better in 3 months.

First nothing I did helped and he still charged me FULL price even though he swore he accepted the insurance

I have realized it is cheaper to set an appointment and get your own blood work done, seems like the labs have something going on with DR's that jack the prices up.???

I suffer from alot of uncovered medical conditions. Lyme disease for one. This past week I spent 550 on one test, and the blood draw was a seperate 40$. All out of pocket. Its such bullshit, should be covered regardless of the issue if it is suggested by a dr. Lyme disease isn’t believed by many doctors so I have to go to alot of specialists who run tests that are never covered. I spend thousands and thousands per year.

after talking with insurance and billing and dr got several different stories but end result they wont pay

Here's another tip for you Graham which I've learned along the way. Most doctors office will tell you that they take your insurance mostly to get over. What you need to do is that ask them each time is "ARE YOU IN NETWORK" with my insurance company!

I do and checked with my insurance company, always do.
Still stuck with bills
