ole krustus mayhave torn a muscle or tendon

Good! Glad u dont need surgery, just be mindful of it for a while. I had to give up chest for 2months when I tore my upper bicep tendon. Better now just I had to work around it for a while

yeah he feels like it won't need surgery, but he admitted he hadn't seen or worked with these injuries a lot... so he's referring me to another doc for final diagnoses.

I have had both my shoulders operated on and tendons sewn back together and neither shoulder is deformed or looks any different than someones shoulder who hasn't had surgery. I do have full range of motion in one of my shoulders but the other is a little less than full. I had darn near complete tears in my bicep long head tendons and rotator cuff tendons. I have pics from the inside of my shoulder that the doc took during surgery and it looks like white fish meat, he took pics of the tear before and after he sewed it back together and he took pics of the anchors he put in too, it is kinda gross looking at them because it is a big mess of what looks like white fibers and meat then you can see the big metal scope he was using for the surgery in my shoulder and you can see the stitches. But range of motion does come back and, at least for me, there was no deformation of the muscles.
I wish you the best bro and I wouldn't worry about anything it will get fixed up and you will be back in the gym hitting it hard soon enough.

Thanks
TMM

I would just live with it and wear it like a badge.

I would just live with it and fuck anyone up who says anything about it.

Seriously Kman, sorry to hear this bro. Good luck and keep on truckin' baby.

alright started rehab for a torn pec... tendons are attached... will always have a deformed pec. but i look at it like there are people who deal with far worse things (loss of limbs, strokes etc..) ..this will be just a bump in the road. i don't compete in bodybuilding so if i can get back strong and lean that will good enough for me. here's a pic of how it looks ...kind of dented and sagging...lol

i know you will make the best of it, and maybe in a year its better then ever and looking good

You're right, it's just a bump in the road.

I know an older gentleman(60+) that had a motorcyle accident a couple years ago, and his collarbone tendons ripped away from the bone. But now he can again do pushups, chinups, he said pretty much everything that he did before, and his collarbone is not even attached.

Stay diligent and determined, as you always are.
You're gonna be well soon brother!!!

Thank the Lord that it is just a bump in the road!!!

You'd be shocked..normal unflexed you can't tell a difference in my pecs. It's only when a load is on them you can see one side is 1/2 of the other.

You may not even notice it..

Damn brother Krustus I missed this as I haven't been on as much.I wish you well bro, I tore my bicep at the elbow insertion and both biceps were long no gap at bi brachialis. They would not do surgery way back when at of fear I would loose range of motion but it has healed ok and you really can't tell accept when very lean then I can manipulate the bicep shot so both arms look the same or very close to the same.. I'm glad your going to be ok bro, hang in there. If you ever check out Francis Benfatto's pictures he had a pretty bad pec tear and has worked around it, you can tell but he turns to manipulate the pictures taken. Best wishes K, and sorry I missed this.

grim... did you recover most of your strength?... and mine does look pretty normal when not flexing...but my bodyfat is not real low...lol

and thor... i don't think mine is as severe as Francis.... but my bodyfat is too high to see it as clearly as you can see his.

i hate it for him... he has an awesome build. i'm sure he worked a lifetime for.... ole krust is just am old guy trying to stay fit...lol

Just saw this man.Sorry to hear about it.Glad you don't need the surgery.

Hopefully you;ll have a full and speedy recovery and be back at it with a vengeance.
