Yes sir they do, the vets office probably thought I was going to tear the building down, had to go outside and pace around. That was 3 years ago and I still break down if I look at one of his pictures. He passed away from congestive heart failure, chihuahua's seem to have a lot of issues with CHF, at the vets looking into his face and he was looking back like he was sorry for leaving.
They are amazing, the only reason I knew something was wrong, he went into his kennel (we have in the house) and laid down in the back of it, they l know when it is time. Rushed him to the vet and by then his lungs were filled with fluid and I couldn't stand watching him suffer for the next few minutes so I told them to give him a shot and just let him go off to sleep.
It is heart breaking.
