So this is a complete bathroom remodel..I had dark pink sinks and toilet and snag carpet before I got to it...did all the demo and nd install myself ..The window to right of and dower is not installed. It was on back order...any ways this is the shit I'm known for around here.

The sinks are on opposite wall of shower...Also built a custom double pocket door walk in closet with hand built cabinet grade wood closet. Cubbies , counter sunk safes, wood hanging rods the whole shebang. .. (-;

These are all only 90% complete on job still had finishing work to do

Ah jell here's a few more..I the wood is the closet from the first bath room I posted above.
Mostly conplete. And only half the room very large closet.

And the last 3 are the same bathroom tub opposite each other..The tub is 1 inch glass by 3-6 inches long..and the shower is 12x24 porcelain tile on brick pattern standing long ways up. The shower received a glass door when I was done. The floor is the same as the shower.

For what ever reason I just got burned out this last year, 18 years of manual labor in construction just wore me down to where I hated my job and...coupled with that i moved cities, it took me years to build up reputation and contacts , and I have non in new town.
I never subcontracted from stores or general contractors..only word of mouth recommendations ...just don't got it in me to build the same thing here.
So I'm moving on..
Some mean I won't do a custom job for someone but as my career I'm done..
I'm not just a tile and stone guy, I can literally do anything and build anything...and fairly good at most aspects of construction..
I got. Crazy pic I will post for yall of a house covered in red mahogany board and Barton siding. With no visible nails or screws, we plugged them all and sanded it ..my brother and I did whole house took 6 months

Dig up this mohagany siding pic and will post ASAP

OH BTW, I started this thread for guys to post job pics or work pics in ...I know many of you work hard and are skilled at your career...

Blue,

Im in your line of work also. Wanted to compliment what Ive seen in those pics. Very very nice work.

Cool LITH so u feel my pain and pride lol.

Here's the red Mohageny you board and batton siding my brother and I did... took us 6 months. We set all the windows in this 500 soft house also...by no means was any of it easy . Mohegany is very heavy and it's hard as he'll to cut..u can't shoot nails in it ..have to pre drill and counter sink screws ..then plug them and sand the plug so it's invisible .
We didn't do the cedar shake roof but everything else wood is just me and my older brother.
U can only see 1/3 of house in this pic..it's large

Thats beautiful. I did a soffit around a pool house in mahogany once, very small job but it was enough. Homeowner bought wood themselves. Just barely had enough, I was sweating...

BWA haha yea we were on tight supply there also..Every cut was critical..that's why only 2 of us did it..The contractor and homeowner didn't want to risk some. Fool ruining boards and wasting money
That stuff was expensige... can't remember exactly what dollar amount was..but u could buy a small hole with what doors cost..and the windows u could buy a big house for what they cost.

Oh yea we clear coated backs and sides of all boards.. and when we finished painters Put 6 coats of clear on house

Its a remarkable job. I try to stay away from this lol. The carpentry/contracting line of it is my side work(in winters when Im off my main job) I try to land quick hitters with good money lol, electrical, tile, carpet, decks etc. This damn knee has cost me alot of money this winter

I'm a carpenter myself..I owned and operated small tile and flooring install co. For last 6 years.
Acute patella tendinitis and twisted my L5 and tore conective tissue so it's become difficult to do work at ability I know I can.
