I feel fat. I have been overindulging in carbs (bread, crackers and Oreos). I also have to eat less dairy because it makes me soft and I hate it frown.gif
 
I had another shockwave therapy session (the 5th one). I'm in less pain during the day but nights are awful.
I will ask my PT if he has bands that I could use.

I thinbk bands would do you good, I tested my arm on a light one and today I will start doing light band curls on the bad arm.
 
You're not too old and you would make a good cop.
I wonder why my PT didn't make me work with bands. It was depressing not to be able to use a light dumbbell 🙁

I retired and miss my job. I worked as a security guard for a while but stopped a few months ago.

I didn't have a life. All I did during 27 years was work 6 to 7 days a week.

One of the missing cats I had been looking for 3 weeks was found in an underground parking not far from home. He is thin but alright.

I am glad he is alright, I love animals.
Was it your choice to work so much and stay busy or was that just the way it was at your workplace?
 
None of my relationships lasted and I was married and to my job. My dad used to say that I was asocial. So work was everything. That's why I was so depressed when I had to retire after my knee surgery 🙁

When I woke up this morning my left shin was a bit swollen and painful. I thought that it was just stiffness that would go away after a good warm up.

Pain was so bad that I had to stop. My left shin was swollen, warm and red. I took pics and sent them to the doctor. He thinks it's either a tendonitis or erysipelas. Right now I don't have a fever and the redness isn't too bad. He told me to walk less, take an anti-inflammatory and ice my leg 3 times a day during 15 minutes. Should things get worse I have to call him again and he will put me on antibiotics.
I hope it's a tendonitis and not a shin stress fracture like the one I had in the 80's.
 
That is what I was thinking was a hairline stress fracture but I hope not.

I wish my wife and I could find good jobs there, you would be able to spend time with us and you and her could work out together. I guess we would have to learn French or German?? 😉 We don't hang out with other people because we are more laid back and conservative I guess.

Oh ok, I wasn't sure if Dutch was still very big but seems like Flemish is a mix of the Dutch dialects.
 
The specialist mentioned an inflammation (tendonitis) she said that there is no need for xrays right now. I'm supposed to rest and take Feldene (which hurts my stomach so bad that I have to take Pantomed40). This sucks because there are a missing cat and an injured one that I need to find asap.

That is crazy, they should be able to give you something that doesn't bother your stomach.......That is insane, I know there is something else they can give you and I will look it up shortly.

Every region has its own dialect (accent).
I found 3 cats, 2 are still missing.
